What the enquiry forms collect

When you submit an enquiry or quotation request we store the name, company, email address, phone number, city, product or service selected, and the message you wrote. We also record the page you submitted from, any campaign parameters in the URL, your IP address and your browser user-agent string — the last two solely to identify and block automated spam.

We use this only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and follow up on it. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside Lalit Industries, other than the email provider that carries the message to us.

Drawings and files you upload

Drawings are your intellectual property and we treat them as such. Uploaded files are stored on private storage outside the public website, are not indexed by search engines, and are never published in our gallery or used as an example of our work. They are opened only to prepare your quotation. We keep them for as long as the enquiry is commercially live and for 24 months afterwards, then delete them. Ask us in writing and we will delete them sooner.

Retention

• Enquiry records: 36 months from last contact, so we can pick up a repeat order.
• Uploaded drawings: 24 months after the enquiry closes.
• Spam-blocking data (IP, user-agent): 12 months.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets a session cookie and a CSRF token cookie, both of which are required for the enquiry forms to work at all. Where analytics is enabled we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation, and Microsoft Clarity for anonymised interaction heatmaps. Neither receives your name, email address, phone number or the contents of your enquiry. You can block these with any browser cookie control without losing access to the site or the forms.

Your rights

Write to lalitindustries.ind@gmail.com and you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will act within 30 days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are rate-limited and CSRF-protected, uploaded files are validated by content type rather than by filename, and access to enquiry records requires authentication.
